Shelly Gerard, the owner and principal of A.C.M.I., has spent his career helping clients tailor customized suites of products and policies to fit their specific needs. He believes in long term relationships and as his client's needs change Shelly will be there to help advise. Shelly has over 30 years experience in the financial and insurance industries, including managing his own accountancy and tax practice. Recognizing the drawbacks and pitfalls related to agents who can only offer individual products, Shelly established his business in 1992 offering clients the benefit of his integrated approach. While many agents out there have few, if any, qualifications or certifications, Shelly strongly believes in fully understanding the industries and products he represents - how else could he best advise his clients.
In addition to being a fully licensed insurance agent, Shelly completed his LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) certification in 1996. LUTCF training and credentials cover a broad spectrum of financial, insurance and benefits products and planning concepts including:

Shelly has also been recognized by the IARFC (International Association of Registered Financial Consultants)having acquired "professional distinction" as a Registered Financial Consultant. The IARFC, founded in 1984, is a non-profit professional association dedicated to educate, train, support and advance the professionalism of financial advisors who are helping people spend, save, insure, invest and plan for the future.
